Join the West End Business Association (WEBA) in celebrating this year’s 70 Year Anniversary of Alexandria’s West End community with a photo contest! On January 1, 1952, the City expanded by 7.65 square miles when it took possession of what is now known as the West End in an annexation suit against Fairfax County. To celebrate the 70th anniversary, WEBA will be accepting photo submissions of favorite West End businesses, parks, open spaces, and tourist attractions. Submit your best photo highlighting the West End’s diverse and growing community with people in action. Submissions are open through September 30, 2022 by 11:59 PM Eastern time.
To become a contestant, please complete this form, upload your photograph and pay the $18/entry fee; all three tasks can be completed on this page. If you are submitted multiple photographs, you will need to complete this form for each photograph. Please email photo-contest@alexandriaweba.org for contest or sponsorship inquiries.
