October 7, 2020

Evelyn Ocampo deLottinville had a vision for the West End of Alexandria, and she put that vision to work. With like-minded colleagues, she was a founding member of the West End Business Association (WEBA) and served on the WEBA board for several years. She worked tirelessly for WEBA even as she expanded her duties as Vice President and Branch Manager of United Bank.

Evelyn passed away on September 28 after a battle with leukemia. She is survived by her husband, two sons, a daughter in law and granddaughters

Her death leaves a hole in our community, and she will be remembered for her many caring ways, kind acts, and for the positive she brought to the lives of many friends and WEBA members. She was a mentor to her colleagues, and very involved in the Alexandria business community. Evelyn will truly be missed.
