WEBA: Hi Ms. Nguyen, happy to get the chance to speak with you and discuss your business. 

ANH NGUYEN: Thank you for inviting me.

 

WEBA: To start, tell us about your business: what is your primary product or service, what makes it unique, and
where does your passion for this work come from?

ANH NGUYEN: We are a full service insurance and financial company specializing in personal and commercial
insurance and helping customers protect their valuable assets as well as help them protect and grow their net worth.

 

 

WEBA: A very important and high-impact business.  What has been the biggest challenge you have faced in the
business world?

ANH NGUYEN: Hiring qualified employees is always the biggest challenge as what we do is not easy for everyone.

 

 

WEBA: Makes sense for a field that is both technical and customer facing. Who or what has been the strongest
source of support for running a successful business, and what is your best networking advice?

ANH NGUYEN: Strong quality relationships is the foundation of our business and referrals from those relationships
have been the best way we have been able to grow through the years. Our best networking advice is to be helpful and
resourceful to build these relationships.

 

 

WEBA: Speaking of growth, what is one major business goal you are focused on achieving in the next 12 months?

ANH NGUYEN: Solidifying the skills and knowledge of our company’s 30 agents and growing the business by 20%
of overall revenue.

 

 

WEBA: 30 agents is a sizable team – we can imagine that fostering a sense of community in the work
environment is an important part of working together. What is the most rewarding part of running your business
here in Alexandria?

ANH NGUYEN:The vibrant community that we are a part of.

 

 

WEBA: How has being a member of WEBA benefited your business or connected you with the community?

ANH NGUYEN: The great contacts and relationships that we have built over the years is priceless.

 

 

WEBA: As an association focused on bringing people together we could not agree more. One last question, just for
fun: what celebrity would you most like to patronize your business?

ANH NGUYEN: I wouldn’t mind insuring one of our local NFL players like Jayden Daniels – would love a connection
to him!
