Member Highlight: Meet Stephanie Arbieto of The Parlor Games

WEBA: Hi Stephanie, nice to meet you and thanks for letting us interview you. Tell us about your business. What is your
primary product or service, and what makes it unique?

STEPHANIE ARBIETO: We are a mobile game library with over 200 unique games! We bring our collection to locally
owned coffeeshops, restaurants, bars and more with the goal of welcoming (or welcoming back!) adults to the gaming
hobby. The barrier to entry can often be high so we do our best to be accessible to players of all ages, experiences, and
skill levels.

 

 

WEBA: Sounds like so much fun! What is the most rewarding part of running your business here in the Alexandria
community?

 

STEPHANIE ARBIETO: It’s such a joy to meet so many of our neighbors who are all community builders in their own
small ways. And those occasions where the game is such a hoot we’re all out of breath with laughter!

 

WEBA: What is one major goal you are focused on achieving in the next 12 months?

STEPHANIE ARBIETO: We’d love to have our calendar booked with 3-4 events per month at least 6 months out!

 

WEBA: We look forward to that! Last question, how has being a member of WEBA benefited your business or connected
you with the community?

STEPHANIE ARBIETO: Being with WEBA has been a tremendous learning opportunity- from practicing my pitch in
the early days to contributing to events aimed at the West End community we’ve felt like our membership has allowed
us to become truly engaged citizens of our city.
