January 28, 2026
WEBA: Hi Dr. Dora, nice to meet you and thanks for letting us interview you.
DR. DORA ADAMOPOULOS: You are so kind!
WEBA: Tell us about your business. What is your primary product or service, and what makes it unique?
DORA ADAMOPOULOS: Eye2Eye is a comprehensive eye care practice that has served the Alexandria
community since 2008. We specialize in preventative and medical eye care, treating conditions such as
diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, and autoimmune disorders. We operate a dedicated dry eye clinic and
offer a successful myopia control program for nearsighted children. Our clinical expertise has made us a
trusted referral center for local surgeons and specialists, all in the service of protecting your vision for the
long term.
WEBA: What is the most rewarding part of running your business here in the Alexandria community?
DORA ADAMOPOULOS: The relationships. I opened my first office in Del Ray in 2008 during the
recession and learned early on that being part of the local community is the only way to grow and feel
“alive” in your business. Their support helped me expand in 2015 to Hilltop Village Center next to the
first Wegmans. Staying true to form, I opened a medical aesthetics center in 2022 as we emerged from
the pandemic.
take care of yourself inside and out through wellness, weight loss, hormone replacement, and medical
aesthetics. It’s deeply rewarding to care for generations of families in a community that values connection
and wellness.
DORA ADAMOPOULOS: As a Del Ray Business Association board member, I’m focused on connecting
our vibrant wellness community with Alexandria residents through local events and educational series. I
want to raise awareness of the many small business owners in our area who are dedicated to health and
wellness, and to grow partnerships that help our community see and feel better at every age.
WEBA: How has being a member of WEBA benefited your business or connected you with the community?
DORA ADAMOPOULOS: WEBA has been a wonderful way to meet other business owners and current
and past leaders in our community who have a wealth of business and life experience and are so eager to
share their knowledge. They also care deeply about the West End and its growth. Collaborating with other
members has opened the door to cross-promotions, new friendships, and a better understanding of what
our community needs. I look forward to continuing my participation and volunteering in future events.
